WELCOME TO MEGA 2009 The Round Up

10.15.09 Registered Stores After two very successful education and trade shows in Reno, this triennial college store conference now moves to Las Vegas and the spectacular South Point Hotel.  For MEGA 2009 we present a new city featuring affordable transportation & lodging costs and great weather. For store members and vendors, we promise an economically sound investment in education.  For everyone, we offer over 200 booths for vendors to show their products and talk shop with several hundred college store professionals.  While ‘Vegas needs little promotion as a holiday destination, its business climate is often less well known.  We have selected the hotel and exhibit center set apart from the ‘Vegas action just enough to keep focused on business and offer an opportunity for a short vacation before or after the meeting.

Two days of professional college store learning sessions, one day of innovative pre-conference retail sessions, and the MEGA one day trade show, are all designed to enhance our professional lives and help us provide continuing excellent service to our student customers.  This year we are preparing the most innovative pre-conference sessions on Monday.  On Tuesday and Wednesday we have top notch general sessions backed up with 20 innovative break out sessions to provide a wide assortment of learning experiences. Budget issues affect us all, but this event is always considered to be a worthwhile investment for both the current year and for the future.  Some stores have asked if they can pay for MEGA now while they have money in their current budgets.  The answer is simple- YES!  $279.00 is all it takes for a full registration.  If you can do it now please go right ahead.  You can finish reading this letter later.
